Help families by helping children...

Family is important to God and family is important to us. YWAM Tyler has been blessed to be able to disciple families for over 40 years. Since our inception, God has allowed us to provide childcare for the families that come here for their missionary training. This blessing has created a unique "niche" within YWAM itself. With over 100 campuses in the United States, YWAM Tyler is one of few that has the ability to receive, equip and launch families into the mission field.

We value families and as a ministry we want to steward well the families the Lord brings us. With that said, our nursery and preschool facilities are in need of many changes. Some are for the safety of the children while others will help us properly and efficiently care for them.

Nursery & Preschool Changes

Our childcare facilities are currently on one side of the gymnasium. Plans are to relocate the facilities to the other side of the gymnasium getting us closer to water and restrooms. This relocation will involve construction of new nursery and preschool rooms as well as moving our current work out room.

Nursery & Preschool Estimate:
*10,000-$12,000

*YWAM Tyler is looking to raise all of the necessary funds for this project. Persons or organizations can donate funds or materials. All donations are tax-deductible. This is simply an estimate. Final costs may come under or may exceed this estimate.

Immediate Need

Our first action step is to raise funds to construct a small entryway and a main wall that will divide the Preschool and Nursery rooms. The entryway will house (2) doors to access the Preschool and Nursery. The main dividing wall will house a door and window. The door will allow workers to go to and from each room easily and the window will allow workers to see into both rooms at all times.

  • 2 Kitchen Areas ($1,500)
    (2 sinks, 2 faucets, 4 bottom cabinets, 2 counter tops, small refrigerator)
  • Ceiling Tiles ($650)
  • 1 Door ($300)
  • Flooring ($3,500) 
  • Interior walls (nap room & closets) ($1,250)
  • Repair walls ($500)
  • Replace baseboards ($200)
  • Reroute Heating & A/C ventilation ($300)

*Any money raised in excess of money needed for remodel will go toward new furnishings for nursery and preschool.
